Got a sweet tooth? I’ve got you covered with my collection of classic Spanish dessert recipes!
Like all the best dishes from Spain, Spanish desserts are simple and unfussy, yet yield incredible results when done right. As far as flavors go, they can be pretty regional. Expect Moorish tastes like honey and almond in sweets from Andalusia, more milk-based options in the dairy producing regions of the north, and a decidedly French influence in many Catalan desserts.
A few classic Spanish dessert recipes are crema catalana (a sort of Catalan creme brulee), arroz con leche (rice pudding), and of course, flan. If you’re craving cake, try my chocolate olive oil cake or the legendary burnt Basque cheesecake—both of which are incredibly delicious and basically impossible to mess up!
