Cava sangria is a refreshing twist on Spain's most famous wine cocktail! It's perfect for summer barbecues, winter holiday feasts, and everything in between.
Ingredients
1 red apple1 cup pineapple2 oranges2 tbsp sugar1 cup frozen red grapes1/2 cup brandy1/2 cup orange liqueur3/4 cup pineapple juice8 sprigs mint2 cinnamon sticks1 star anise (optional)2 bottles brut cavaSugar or simple syrup, to tasteIce cubes

Slice all of the fruit and add it to a large bowl.
Mix in the sugar and let sit for at least 10 minutes. The sugar and fruit juices will macerate into a delicious syrup!
Add in all of the liquids except for the cava, as well as some mint leaves if you like.
Now add the spices and frozen grapes.
Add the cava last so it retains all of its bubbles!
