Why make it?

Cava sangria is a refreshing twist on Spain's most famous wine cocktail! It's perfect for summer barbecues, winter holiday feasts, and everything in between.


1 red apple 1 cup pineapple 2 oranges 2 tbsp sugar 1 cup frozen red grapes 1/2 cup brandy 1/2 cup orange liqueur 3/4 cup pineapple juice 8 sprigs mint 2 cinnamon sticks 1 star anise (optional) 2 bottles brut cava Sugar or simple syrup, to taste Ice cubes

Slice all of the fruit and add it to a large bowl.

Mix in the sugar and let sit for at least 10 minutes. The sugar and fruit juices will macerate into a delicious syrup!

Add in all of the liquids except for the cava, as well as some mint leaves if you like.

Now add the spices and frozen grapes.

Add the cava last so it retains all of its bubbles!

Serve over ice and enjoy!
