- 1 bottle dry Spanish rosé wine
- 1 cup freshly-squeezed orange juice
- 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced
- ¾ cup gin or vodka if you prefer
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup sparkling water
- 1 handful fresh mint leaves
- simple syrup to taste optional
Combine the wine, gin, orange juice, and strawberries in a large pitcher. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours.
After chilling, taste the sangria. Add simple syrup, honey, or more orange juice to sweeten to taste.
When ready to serve, top up the pitcher with the sparkling water and garnish with the raspberries and mint leaves.
Pour into small glasses and enjoy cold!
- For the best results, always use a wine that you would be happy to drink by itself.
- I love the sourness you get from adding a bit of gin, but feel free to use vodka for a more muted taste.
