- 1 lemon thinly sliced, peel on
- 1 orange thinly sliced, peel on
- 1 apple cored, thinly sliced, skin on
- 1 cup assorted fresh berries
- 1 cup grape juice
- 1 cup water
- 4 cups sparkling water chilled
Place all of the sliced fruit and berries in a large pitcher. Pour in the grape juice and still water and leave in the fridge for at least an hour. You can also leave it in the fridge overnight if you have the time!
When ready to serve, top up the pitcher with the sparkling water and serve immediately, poured over ice.
- Make sure to leave yourself enough time to let the flavors macerate in the fridge, but otherwise, it's just a 5-minute recipe.
- This recipe uses fruit that you can find easily year-round, but it's pretty versatile. Add whatever sweet fruit you like, and enjoy!
- If you prefer a sweeter or more concentrated sangria, replace the cup of still water with an extra cup of grape juice. You can also add extra sweetness with superfine sugar or simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water boiled on the stove until dissolved and then cooled).
