Top 4 Rooftop Bars in Valencia to Enjoy a Drink With a View

Valencia is a vibrant, dynamic city with so many amazing sights to enjoy and so much history to devour. As one of the oldest cities in Spain, Valencia is home to a variety of fascinating, ancient buildings. But it’s also got modern, avant-garde architecture, especially from Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, as well as stunning beaches to appreciate.

While it’s great to take the city in on foot, it’s extra special to catch a view of it from another perspective. And why not enjoy the view, drink in hand? A rooftop bar or terrace is a great way to wind down at the end of your day and enjoy the cool evening breeze. Take to the sky in one of these fabulous terraces and rooftop bars in Valencia.

Top Rooftop Bars in Valencia

1. Ateneo Sky Bar

The varied and beautiful architecture in Valencia is best appreciated from above. The Sky Bar Restaurant, as the name suggests, offers incredible views over the city and is one of the most popular rooftop bars in Valencia. A restaurant during the day, you can enjoy some delicious tapas in impressive surroundings. Then, once evening rolls around, the cocktail bar opens and you can settle down and appreciate the city accompanied by your favorite aperitif. There are often DJs playing as the sun goes down to add atmosphere and locals will be seen sipping cocktails well into the wee hours during the weekend.

2. Panorama

Overlooking the popular Playa del Cabanyal beach, the Panorama terrace may not be high in the sky, but it’s the perfect place for a drink with a view. With an outside terrace for the summer months, you can also enjoy a completely unobstructed view of the water through the sheer glass walls on colder days. The perfect combination of an airy space by the sea, but without the cold winter sea breeze!

While somewhat expensive if you come to eat, coffee and cake during the day won’t set you back too much. Also, with such an open sea view, Panorama is an amazing place to enjoy a Valencian sunset.
